TWO men have been arrested in Coventry following a report of a man being threatened with a machete.
Police responded to the report in Northfield Road yesterday (Thursday July 23).
Officers arrested two men, one in his 20s and another in his 30s, on suspicion of possession of a knife.
Both men were taken into custody while enquiries continued.
A Coventry Police spokesperson said: “As part of #SaferTownsSummer, we are working hard with our partners to make our public spaces as safe and welcoming as possible for everyone.
“There will be visible reassurance patrols and enforcement activity in hotspot areas, and local officers are on hand as ever to listen to any concerns you may have.
