COVENTRY have announced a trio of signings for the forthcoming 2015/16 campaign as they look to make another push for promotion from National League One.
James Tincknell, Peter Weightman and Courtney Roberts have all agreed to moves to the Butts Park Arena.
Centre Tincknell, 26, joins from relegated Premiership side London Welsh and initially played for fellow National League One side Wharfedale before moving to Premiership outfit Leeds Carnegie.
A serious car crash in 2011 curtailed his promising career but through rehabilitation the Leicester-born player returned to action with Wharfedale and then Championship sides Cornish Pirates and Doncaster Knights before moving to London Welsh.
An experienced, speedy and impressive player, Tincknell will add an extra level of experience to the Coventry side.
Weightman moves to Coventry from relegated National League One side Tynedale, for whom he played 34 games last season.
The 21-year-old, who was born in Keswick, is an exciting young player and brings another exciting prospect to the Butts Park Arena.
New Zealand lock forward Courtney Roberts became the club’s fifth summer signing last Friday.
The 25-year-old has moved to the Butts Park Arena after being named the 2014 PGG Wrightson Premier Club Player of the year.
Roberts is an Aucklander but owns a British passport and is also vice-captain of the Onewhero Premiers as well as being a member of the Counties Manukau Cavaliers.
