FIVE-TIME World Snooker Champion Ronnie O’Sullivan will play a special exhibition in Coventry next year.
The Rocket has been confirmed as the latest big name to play at the Arches Snooker venue and follows in the footsteps of Jimmy White, Ken Doherty and Mark Selby who have all graced the green baize at the venue.
The intermate evening is part of O’Sullivan’s Legends Club tour and will comprise of nine frames of snooker which will be followed by a photo and signing session.
In order to increase capacity for the exhibition, the Arches has confirmed they will be removing five snooker tables to make it a fully seated event.
O’Sullivan is one of the most recognisable names not just in snooker, but in sport, for his on the table flair and success.
He is often described as the most talented player to pick up a snooker cue and his five world titles make him the second most successful player in the sport behind seven-time champion Stephen Hendry.
O’Sullivans comes to the Arches on February 28 just three months after defending his Champion of Champions title at the Ricoh Arena.
