M.I.RACING are celebrating one of its most successful cyclo cross seasons after producing no fewer than 63 race wins.
Phil Roach proved to be one of the most successful riders in the team having won 13 events, which included the Welsh Championship title and he also finished runner-up in the LVRC National Championships.
In his first full season for the Coventry-based cycling club, Kirby Bennett recorded 12 victories and also finished second in the Midland Championships.
Despite missing several events because of injury, Peter Busby finished with 11 wins while both John Gabriel and Steve Knight claimed nine race wins.
Martine Verweij celebrated five race wins, which included one win in the British Championships while Barrie Mitchell was victorious on two occassions, while coming second in the LVRC National Championships.
There were also wins for Barrie Mitchell and Carl Sturgeon, while team boss and six-time World Masters Champion Mick Ives had one race victory.
M.I.Racing are now preparing for the road, track and mountain bike season which begins with the 80-mile training road (for team member only), this Sunday.
