M6 southbound re-opens as man talked down from road sign

THE M6 southbound between junction two and junction three has be re-opened after a man was talked down from a road sign.

Officers were forced to shut the motorway and tailbacks are as far as Birmingham Airport.

Traffic is now slowly moving, though road users have been advised to Hollow Square diversion symbols exiting the M6 at J3 then continue along the A444 southbound to the A428 eastbound and proceed to A46 northbound.
