A COVENTRY man has been arrested at Birmingham Airport this morning (October 27) on suspicion of funding terrorism.
The 32-year-old was detained after flying into Birmingham by officers from the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit.
The arrest is part of a continuing investigation into the financing of terrorism and was intelligence-led.
There was no risk to any passengers at Birmingham Airport or to the wider public in relation to the arrest.
