COVENTRY City captain Jordan Willis could be in line for a return at MK Dons tomorrow, while striker Michael Folivi is finally back in training after injury.
Manager Mark Robins said this morning Willis will be in the squad for tomorrow’s League One clash at Milton Keynes.
The 22-year-old homegrown academy graduate Willis could be a contender after errors in recent weeks at the back which have let opponents in.
The Sky Blues are 17 points from safety with nine games left, and are still rooted to the bottom of the table.
Willis returned to action at Bury last month but suffered a recurrence of the injury which has largely kept him out of action since his sending off at Northampton in January led to a four match ban.
Striker Folivi, 18, brought in on loan from Watford on the last day of the January transfer window by former boss Russell Slade, has not played at all since then, and has been at his host club working at returning to fitness.
Robins revealed this morning he has recovered from an ankle injury and will train with the squad today, but is unlikely to be involved in the matchday squad for tomorrow’s game.
Robins said: “We’re as we were on Tuesday evening in terms of availability.
“Jordan has been back in with us, he’ll be in the squad.
“Michael Folivi is back in the building and will be training with us this morning, but is not fit enough for the weekend.”
