FOOTBALL: PREPARATIONS are well underway at Coventry United Ladies FC ahead of the club’s FA Women’s Premier League Southern Division campaign which starts in August.

Significant changes and hard work during the off-season has left the club in an optimistic mood as Natasha Lynch’s side aims for promotion to the FA Women’s Super League.

The club has increased training to three times per week with conditioning coach Erika Mole taking regular strength and conditioning sessions in a fully equipped gym.

All players will have an individual strength and conditioning programme with nutritional advice throughout the season.

Also new this season is the club’s home.

The Butts Park Arena will host all Coventry United FC and Coventry United LFC home fixtures – something which members of the club are extremely excited about.

A Girls’ academy for 16-18-year-old will start later this year alongside a new partnership between the club and Warwick University.

Jade Ogle, marketing manager at CULFC, said: “All of these developments within Coventry United Ladies Football Club are to ensure that the public know how committed, passionate and professional all of us are about winning the league this year and enhancing all aspects of CULFC.

“We would like to thank everyone for their continued support and look forward to welcoming even more supporters into our new home at the Butts Park Arena.”

CULFC started their pre-season campaign earlier this week at Warwick University.
