Man dies from stabbing after being found in street by passer-by in Solihull borough

A MAN has died after being stabbed in the head and neck in Solihull borough, police have confirmed.

He was found with head and neck injuries in Haselour Road, Kingshurst, yesterday morning (Sunday, August 6).

The horrific discovery was made just before 10am by a passer-by.

A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital with what the emergency services reported to be ‘serious stab wound injuries’.




West Midlands Police said yesterday that he was in a critical condition.

The force has since confirmed that the man has died.


The area was cordoned off yesterday and police and continuing their investigations.

The road has since been re-opened.
