KING Henry VIII school maintained its reputation for academic success with another year of excellent GCSE results.
Almost one third all GCSEs taken were awarded the top grade of an A* – and almost two thirds of all GCSEs taken were awarded A* or A grades.
More than a fifth of students in year 11 achieved at least 10 GCSE grades of A* or A while nine students gained at least ten A* grades.
Headmaster, Jason Slack, said: “This academic success is only part of the full picture of a very talented year group.
“We are delighted with their achievements.”
