FOOTBALL: LOAN star Duckens Nazon was on target for Haiti not once but twice as his home nation drew 3-3 with Japan in Yokohama.
Japan earnt themselves a two goal lead early on thanks to goals from Shu Kurata and Kenyu Sugimoto inside the opening 20 minutes.
However, Kevin Lafrance sparked Haiti into life midway through the first half when poking the ball home from close range.
Nazon, on-loan at Coventry from Wolves, brought his side level just before the hour mark when he reacted fastest to Carlens Arcus’ low cross.
Fifteen minutes later and Nazon doubled his goal tally when curling an effort high into the far corner from distance.
Jean-Claude Josaphat’s side looked like they had won it, until an injury time equaliser from former Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa meant the game ended level.
Duckens will be available for the selection when the Sky Blues head to Accrington on Saturday.
