A LEADING shower manufacturer has thrown its weight behind the festive fundraising efforts at Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice.

Nuneaton-based Triton will kick start a series of fundraising initiatives led by the manufacturer’s team to support the independent charity that first opened its doors in 2011.

The charity offers palliative, respite and end of life care to babies and infants from birth to five years suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

Nursing staff provide assistance seven days a week in a homely environment.

The centre also features a tranquil garden space, a stimulating sensory room and organises play sessions tailored to each child.

All of this comes at a cost though, and each year the charity must raise £1.1million to provide services to families at no cost.

As well as providing generous sponsorship, Triton employees are also planning a Christmas raffle.

A group from the company will also run the Coventry Half Marathon in March to raise further funds.

David Tutton, managing director at Triton, said he was impressed by the support offered at the facility to children facing challenging situations.

He said: “We’re honoured to be connecting with Zoë’s Place to ensure this critical service can continue.

“It’s brilliant our workforce is literally racing to make a difference.”

Muna Chauhan, corporate manager at Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice, said: “We are delighted with the support from Triton and are very excited with the partnership.

“Partnerships are important for charitable organisations like ours as they provide us with ongoing support from companies that have the resource and manpower to really make a difference.

“I’d like to thank the team at Triton for choosing a Zoë’s Place.”
