FOOTBALL: DEVON Kelly-Evans is hoping to add to his Sky Blues appearance list, but admitted he will have to improve his ‘end product’ to do so.
The 21-year-old, who scored his first goal for the Sky Blues earlier this year against Exeter, has every intention of impressing City boss Mark Robins to become a regular within the first team.
He said: “My aim is to make more appearances and become a regular starter within the team.
“I’ll have to take my chances, score goals and have a better quality to my end product.”
The former Nuneaton Town player also spoke highly of his boss, explaining Mark Robins is good at giving young players chances.
He said: “He (Mark Robins) has made a positive impact on me as he gave me my league debut and he gives academy players chances too.”
And the midfielder continues to remember that special day at the Ricoh Arena against Exeter.
“It was great for me to score on my league debut it was a very proud day for me and my family,” said Kelly-Evans.
