Woman prepares for charity skydive in aid of Myton Hospices

RHIANNON Jones is preparing to swap cars for a plane in aid of Myton Hospice.

The marketing executive with Leamington Mazda will be taking part in a charity skydive – free falling at over 120mph for 5,000 feet before opening her parachute – on Saturday September 29.

And after recently visiting Myton Hospice in Warwick and seeing the work of the carers first-hand, Rhiannon is determined to raise as much as possible for the charity, which also has centres in Coventry and Rugby.

Rhiannon said: “Myton Hospice is an incredible charity with amazing people working there. When I had my tour around the hospice’s accommodation and grounds, it was a real eye opener.

“It had a calm and warm atmosphere, which was not what I was expecting, and really showcased the wonderful work they do for patients and their families.”

Green 4 Motor Group, which includes Coventry Mazda, Leamington Mazda and Stourbridge Mazda, has chosen Myton Hospice as one of its designated local charities in 2018.
