Police want to speak with this man about Hillfields disorder where man was stabbed

THIS CCTV image shows a man police want to speak with in connection with an incident in Hillfields where a man was stabbed.

West Midlands Police said: “Detectives investigating a disorder where a man was stabbed in Coventry want to speak to this man.

“The 56-year-old victim was found with serious wounds to his head, back and hand in Victoria Street, Hillfields, just before 2.20am on 20 September.

“He continues to receive treatment for his injuries and officers are keen to speak to this man in connection with the disorder.




“A 26-year-old man has already been charged with grievous bodily harm and bailed to appear before Warwick Crown Court on 2 November.

“A 23-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has been bailed pending further enquiries.”


DC Paul Deeley, from force CID, said: “A man continues to recover from serious injuries and we are keen to establish the full circumstances of what happened in the early hours of that morning.”
