A BOY is in hospital after a collision with a car near to a Coventry primary school.
The incident happened close to the entrance of Bablake School in Coundon Road, Coventry, at just after 8.00am this morning (November 5).
An ambulance and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene and police confirmed the boy’s injuries were ‘not thought to be life threatening’.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “When ambulance staff arrived, they were told that there had been a collision between a car and a child.
“The boy was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital by ambulance for further assessment and treatment.”
