A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a shooting in Coventry.
Police have issued the following statement: “Police were called to an address in Chepstow Close, Willenhall, at just after 1am today (Friday, December 7) and found a man seriously injured.
“The victim, who has not yet been formally identified, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody for questioning.
“The investigation is at an early stage and house-to-house and CCTV enquiries are being carried out.
“The force is appealing for anyone with information which can assist officers with their enquiries to come forward.
