TWO men and a boy are set to appear before magistrates after a high speed police chase saw a car reach speeds of 100mph on the wrong side of the road.
Police received reports a 17-year-old boy was attacked and robbed in Nuneaton just after midnight on Tuesday (January 29).
And shortly after they chased a vehicle, which failed to stop along the A45, until officers finally used a stinger across a road in Allesley.
The trio were arrested and later charged with robbery and driving offences.
Connor Hartnett, 18, of Alcester Road, Studley, was charged with robbery, driving while disqualified, dangerous driving, driving without insurance and attempted robbery.
A 17-year-old boy from Solihull was charged with robbery, attempted robbery and possession of cannabis.
And Callum Jordan Askew, 18, of Hobs Meadow, Solihull, was charged with robbery and attempted robbery.
All three will appear at Warwickshire Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday).
