IMAGES have been released of a man who was part of a group that attacked a staff member at a Lidl supermarket in Coventry.

A Coventry Police spokesperson: “Officers want to speak to this man about a theft at a Lidl store in the Foleshill area of Coventry at around 4pm on Tuesday, January 22.

“It’s believed this man is part of a group of people that attacked a store employee during the incident.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight or call 101 anytime. Crimestoppers can be called anonymously on 0800 555 111. Quote crime reference 20CV/19998T/19.”
