COVENTRY United have announced the return of defender Lewis Hudson to the club for the 2019/20 season.
The fan favourite returns to the club following a spell at Coventry Sphinx in the MFL Premier Division, and gets set for a third spell in the red and green of United.
Hudson originally joined the club in 2016 after graduating from the Strachan Football Foundation, and returned for a second spell in 2017 after moving to Racing Club Warwick.
In all, he has appeared 28 times competitively for United, and has already made his mark since his return after finding the net in the Jordan Shields memorial match.
Possessing great pace and offering an attacking threat from left-back, Hudson is sure to play a key role in the club’s push for promotion in the forthcoming campaign.
Assistant manager Luke Morton expressed his delighted to have Hudson back on board, and said: “He is an exceptional young player and is going to add an awful of lot to our squad, as he can play in a number of positions.
“For someone so young, he has an old head on him, and is a potential leader amongst our squad.”
