Coventry rape: Appeal as CCTV image released

A CCTV image has been released after a woman was raped in Coventry.

The incident happened last year in Bridge Street and police say it has been subject to a ‘long and complex’ investigation.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Detectives have released a photograph of a man they’d like to trace after a woman was raped.

“Three men have already been arrested as part of the enquiry.

“All three have been released pending further investigation and officers are now appealing to trace a fourth person.

“Specialist detectives have been working hard to identify all those responsible since attack, on November 26, 2018.

“If you recognise the man pictured please contact West Midlands Police via Live Chat at www.west-midlands.police.uk from 8am to midnight, or call 101 anytime.

“To remain anonymous please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Tell them what you know, not who you are. Please quote crime number 20CV/276008X/18.”
