POLICE continue to investigate a ‘carjacking’ attack in Coventry, which left a van driver with a fractured skull.
Two robbers attacked the driver of a VW van in Hastings Road, Stoke, in the afternoon of Thursday, December 12.
They took the van and escaped to the west onto Brighton Street.
No arrests have yet been made.
A spokesperson for West Midland Police, said: “Police are investigating after a driver suffered a serious head injury when a van was stolen from Hastings Road, Stoke, at about 1.15pm on Thursday.
“Two masked robbers struck the man over the head after he got out of the vehicle. They took the keys to a Volkswagen van and drove away in the direction of Brighton Street.
“The victim is currently being treated in hospital for a fractured skull.
