THIS is the moment cute XL American bulldog pup Tyson was dognapped from his owner’s house in Coventry.
The footage of the young pup being carried away in a bag by the thief has been released by West Midlands Police.
Tyson has since been found in the Walsgrave area, but detectives are still appealing for information in identifying the man in the video.
West Midlands Police said: “Great news! Tyson’s been found in the #Walsgrave area and is now being cared for by his rightful owner. We’re still appealing for your help identifying the man in the video. Get in touch.”
The pet pooch was taken from an address in Rafferty Adams Way, Longford, around 11am on Monday, January 6, along with an engagement ring, clothing and jewellery.
Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who has information about the break-in and who was responsible.
DC Mario Poleszak, from force CID, said: “The burglar was determined to get his hands on whatever he could taking sentimental items and stooping as low as taking a young pup.”
