CHEZ Copeland, the Coventry man arrested on explosives suspicions in April 2018, has pleaded guilty to possessing explosives.
He was cleared of terrorism charges.
Copeland was handed a 22-month sentence at Birmingham Crown Court, which he has served after being remanded.
Yesterday (March 4), Copeland, aged 22 from Brookside Avenue in Coventry, admitted possessing explosives without a relevant certificate and possessing a stun gun.
Police say he was arrested at his home address in April 2018 and subsequently charged with terrorism offences including possessing a stun gun.
A search of his home revealed suspicious items and a cordon was placed around the property with a number of nearby homes being evacuated. A number of dangerous chemicals were found and disposed of by Explosive Ordnance Disposal.
