Men charged after shots fired at police

A MAN from Ryton-on-Dunsmore has appeared with two others in court on charges of attempted murder.

Police say the three men were arrested after shots were fired at officers in Worcester on March 10.

Gerard Doherty, 20, of Oxford Road in Ryton-on-Dunsmore is charged alongside Ciaran Irvine, 19, of no fixed abode in Warwickshire and Kyle Ryley, 21, of Highlands Road, Hinckley, Leicestershire.

They are set to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today (March 13) to answer charges of attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of a firearm and possession of an offensive weapon.




Ryley was also been charged with dangerous driving and driving whilst disqualified.
