Coventry Editorial 6th Apr, 2020   0

A TEENAGE boy has handed himself in to police as officers investigate the murder of Pavandeep Daudher in Coventry.

Pavandeep was fatally stabbed at the BP garage in Lockhurst Lane on March 31.

Detectives have charged Ethan Lilley, aged 22, of Queen Isobels Avenue, Cheylesmore, with murder.

Today (April 6) a 17-year-old boy handed himself in to police and was arrested on suspicion of murder.

Lilley has been remanded in custody, set to appear at court at a later date.

Officers say a third man, aged 33, arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday has been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.

Detective Inspector Stuart Mobberley, from West Midlands force CID, said: “Our thoughts remain with Pavandeep’s family and we have specialist officers supporting them during this deeply distressing time.

“Although these updates in the last 24 hours are a significant development in our investigation, I would still urge anyone with information, and who has not spoken to us already, to get in touch as soon as possible.”
