POLICE have appealed for help to trace burglars who stole a cancer nurse’s car in Coventry needed to get to hospital.

Officers say a blue three-door Hyundai Getz, registration BJ05 UCD, was taken in a burglary at the house in Yardley Street, Hillfields, sometime between midnight and 7am in the morning of April 13.

A rear patio door was forced open and keys, a purse and three laptops were also taken during an untidy search of the downstairs rooms.

As a key worker, the nurse said her car was vital for getting to and from hospital shifts.

Police requested anyone with information about the break-in or where the car may be, to contact officers quoting crime reference number 20CV/88780Q/20, via Live Chat at www.west-midlands.police.uk or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
