ONE of the victims of a double stabbing in Solihull on Sunday (April 26) has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Police say they have detained a 19-year-old man who was hurt alongside a 16-year-old boy.
Both were being treated in hospital after the incident on Chapelhouse Road, Fordbridge, at 2.40pm yesterday.
Officers said the 16-year-old lad is recovering from non-life threatening injuries in hospital.
An 18-year-old man was also arrested as police held a 14-year-old boy for questioning.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police told the Observer: “We are continuing to investigate after two people were stabbed in Chapelhouse Road, Solihull at 2.40pm yesterday (Sunday).
“A 16-year-old boy suffered injuries which are not deemed life threatening and remains in hospital in a stable condition.
“A 19-year-old man who suffered stab wound injuries, has been discharged from hospital and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
“A 14-year-old boy was arrested nearby and an 18-year-old man was arrested yesterday evening. They all remain in police custody today (27 April).

The air ambulance was called out to the Marston Green and Fordbridge area on Sunday following the knife attack.
A spokeswoman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 2:45pm on Sunday to reports of a stabbing in Marston Green.
“The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended the scene, along with a land ambulance and paramedic officer. We treated one patient, a teenage male, for injuries not believed to be life threatening before taking him on blue lights to hospital for further treatment.”
