Man viciously attacked by dog walker in Coventry on Friday

A MAN was subjected to a vicious attack in Coventry on Friday, May 1.

He was driving along Aldermans Green Road at around 8.45am when he got into a dispute with a man who was walking his dog.

The dog walker caused damage to the driver’s car, he was then bitten several times by an Akita dog before being struck with a metal dog lead.

The dog walker is described as white of stocky build and possibly having wavy hair.




Sgt Tom Reid, from the Henley and Longford neighbourhood policing team, said: “This was a shocking and violent attack which led to the victim receiving some nasty injuries.

“I urge anybody who has any knowledge of this incident to come forward. If you witnessed anything or have any dash cam or other footage please get in touch.”
