PEOPLE struggling with online banking, navigating websites and recognising fraudulent ‘phishing’ emails can take advantage of free one-hour courses from Coventry Adult Education Service.
The sessions take place at 9.30am and 10.45am at Harp Place on Monday, October 19, at Southfields First School on Wednesday, October 21, at 9.30am, 10.45am, 12.30pm and 1.45pn and Thursday, October 22, at 12.30pm and 1.45pm at Harp Place.
Coventry City Council’s Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, Coun Kevin Maton, said: “We recognise that more than ever people are having to do things online, whether that be book online deliveries or manage their finances and this can sometimes be daunting.
“These free sessions will help people feel more confident and give them a good start to doing more online.”
