A CREW from Canley Fire Station helped rescue a horse which became trapped in a water-filled ditch yesterday evening.
The firefighters from the station’s Red watch helped colleagues in the West Midlands Fire Service Technical Rescue team.
They jokingly said afterwards: “It was a great team effort which resulted in Dandy getting back on his hooves.
“Looks like he’s in a ‘stable’ condition.”
