COVENTRY’S Shop Front Theatre is reopening on June 9 to stage a new play by a city playwright after 15 months of lockdown restrictions.
Mademoiselle F by Vanessa Oakes explores the links between obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), isolation and the environment.
It will be the first live performance event at the City Arcade venue – a former fish and chip shop restaurant – this summer.
Vanessa trained as a theatre designer and worked extensively in scenography, community arts and arts administration before becoming a full-time playwright and freelance producer.
Performances will run from June 9 -12 at 7.30pm, with matinee performances at 2.30pm on June 10 and 12. Book tickets here.
