PEOPLE have until the end of Thursday (June 10) to catch ‘Rising Up From Adversity’ at Coventry Cathedral Ruins.

It features 100 trees inside the ruins to represent the city’s regrowth and resilience after the devastation of the Blitz bombings.

A specially commissioned piece of music by Coventry composer Derek Nisbet accompanies the natural display.

He said: “Coventry has had its trials and tribulations over the years but has always come back stronger and that is what we tried to capture with this piece.

“I wanted to give people a place to reflect.”

It also features the voices of people who have overcome their own challenges.
