FOOTBALL - Coventry City's clash with Stoke City postponed

Coventry Editorial 16th Dec, 2021 Updated: 16th Dec, 2021   0

COVENTRY City’s match with Stoke City has been postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak in the Potters squad and coaching staff.

Stoke informed the EFL that they would be unable to fulfil the fixture which was scheduled for this Saturday, December 18 at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

The Sky Blues confirmed via a statement on their website that the club currently has no COVID cases in the first-team squad or staff.

That means City’s next game will now take place on Boxing Day against Cardiff City with kick-off at 3pm at the Cardiff City Stadium.
