PICTURE SPECIAL - Crowds flock to Vegan Festival at Coventry's FarGo Village

THERE were more than 25 independent traders’ stalls at Coventry’s FarGo Village last weekend when the latest Vegan Festival was held at the venue.

On Saturday and Sunday the businesses were selling everything from street food, drinks, sweet treats and cakes to artwork, homeware, soaps, clothing and more.

There was a really good turn-out on both days.

Monta Norkuse, FarGo Village’s assistant events co-ordinator, said: “We received some really good feedback – it was an excellent event for vegans, as you’d expect, but it was also good for those not into a vegan lifestyle but thinking of trying it.”

There was live music in the Factory on the Saturday and the Market Hall on the Sunday.

This Easter weekend there will be games, including indoor basketball and table football, in the factory on Friday and Saturday and there will be live soul music on bank holiday Monday.
