THE NSPCC has launched an appeal for volunteers to help out at its Childhood Day in Coventry on June 10.
The event is aimed at having fun and raising awareness of child protection and the work the charity does.
Volunteers are needed to be part of the NSPCC’s fund-raising collection in the city centre.
People are also being urged to organise their own fund-raisers, whether it is a sponsored event, board game day, a musical get-together, an online gaming tournament, bake sale, dress-up day or other activity.
Visit nspcc.org.uk/support-us/events-fundraising/childhood-day/volunteer/ to sign up to be a fund-raising volunteer.
People wanting to organise their own fund-raisers can go to nspcc.org.uk/childhoodday for more information.
