UNIVERSITY Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire charity will be holding a summer extravaganza at the Assembly Festival Gardens next Saturday, August 20.
The event will take place between midday and 6pm and will feature live music and entertainment.
There will be plenty of gourmet food trucks and funfair games for the whole family.
The money will be used to improve services at Coventry’s University Hospital and Rugby’s Hospital of St Cross.
This will include world-leading robotic surgery equipment to help patients to recover from operations quicker and tiny gel pillows to cradle neonatal babies’ heads.
Assembly Festival artistic director William Burdett-Coutts said: “It is a privilege for Assembly Festival Garden to host UHCW’s Charity Fest.
“It is set to be a fantastic day of live performances and entertainment, but most importantly a way of raising crucial funds for local hospital staff and patients.”
Tickets for the event cost £10 for adults.
