'Monster parking' campaign aims to get Coventry shoppers into city centre

Coventry Editorial 14th Sep, 2022   0

COVENTRY’S Lower Precinct shopping centre has launched a ‘monster parking’ campaign inviting shoppers to park for just £1 between 2pm and 7pm on Tuesdays throughout September.

The scheme aims to encourage more shoppers to visit Coventry city centre and support local retail brands that have struggled due to the pandemic and the rise in online shopping.

Lower Precinct will also be randomly selecting cars parked there to win a prize which includes a £20 voucher to spend in a store of their choice.

Customers need to keep an eye out for the monster balloon and leaflet left on their car.

Lower Precinct Centre Manager, Nicola Cormell said: “We’re pleased to offer this monster car parking promotion for our shoppers this September”.

“Our shoppers will be pleased to browse our national and independent brands including H&M, Newlook and Bean & Brunch while parking at a bargain price”.

Shoppers will need to use the car parking machines before leaving as normal.
