PERSIMMON Homes has raised £5,250 for Myton Hospices by hosting a charity golf day.

The golf day took place at the Forest of Arden and saw 26 teams made up of 104 players tee off for the charity.

Myton Hospices support those living with terminal illnesses and their families but has to raise £9.1million this year to continue providing this care.

Persimmon Homes now plan to make the golf day an annual event to raise funds for charities across the region.

Corporate Fundraiser at The Myton Hospices in Coventry and Warwickshire, Yasmin Warburton said they were very grateful for Persimmon Homes’s fundraising efforts.

Persimmon Homes technical director Paul Coles, who organised the golf day, added: “It was great to see our staff and our suppliers coming together for what was an enjoyable day, the feedback on the event has been excellent.

“Myton Hospices do an incredible job in providing compassionate end-of-life care throughout Warwickshire and I’m pleased we have been able to play our part in supporting this charity”.
