MOTOFEST will be returning on the first weekend of June 2023 following the postponement of this year’s festival.
Organisers announced the news on Saturday at the latest Club MotoFest Breakfast Meet at Millenium Place, with festival director James Noble joined by Deputy Lord Mayor of Coventry, Coun Jaswant Singh.
The weekend-long festival will take place on Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4.
This year’s event was postponed as a mark of respect following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
The 2023 event will feature many of the attractions that were due to be unveiled this year alongside further new additions that will be announced in the coming months.
It will include racing demonstrations, static displays and live music and will be celebrating Coventry’s motoring heritage.
There will also be a focus on future technology featuring the latest alternatively fuelled vehicles, electric cars and advanced automotive technology.
And it’s been confirmed the city’s Cycle Fest will form part of the overall weekend.
James Noble, MotoFest Coventry Festival Director, said: “We are delighted and somewhat relieved, to be at the point where we can announce the dates for MotoFest 2023.
“The road to this announcement has in recent weeks been paved with numerous challenges, obstacles and difficulties.
“Moving forward, we can look forward to celebrating Coventry’s motoring heritage with one of the most electrifying event spectacles of the year.”
