Coventry Editorial 31st Oct, 2022   0

AN ONLINE two-day programme to help businesses in Coventry and Warwickshire with their e-commerce skills has been launched.

West Midlands 5G is behind the scheme, having helped more than 500 businesses in the last three years through their SME accelerators and European Regional Development Fund schemes.

The course is on November 16-17 and is available to all SME businesses in Coventry and Warwickshire. It aims to particularly benefit creators, ‘solopreneurs’ and small businesses that want to increase their online sales presence.

With a variety of speakers, it will set out why it’s important to keep on top of e-commerce, giving the latest tips in selling on channels such as Amazon and Instagram.

There will also be masterclasses in social media selling as well as inside knowledge on how local entrepreneurs succeeded in their fields and the lessons they learnt.

Lessons include the importance of good branding and how to use immersive and AI technologies to improve customer experience.

West Midlands 5Gs director of acceleration and adoption, Lesley Holt, said: “Entrepreneurs, small businesses, and also those considering launching their own business face many challenges in the current economic climate, and this programme will support businesses to get ahead and supercharge their online presence, helping future proof their business.
