Ground-breaking 'Arc Vector' coming from Coventry firm

Coventry Editorial 28th Oct, 2022   0

COVENTRY vehicle designers Arc will be bringing the world’s first fully electric neo-cafe racer to the market.

The people behind Arc say they are just weeks away from delivering its first ‘Vector’ motor vehicle to customers.

The vehicle is believed to be the most advanced motorcycle ever built fueled by a battery.

Arc’s founder and chief executive Mark Truman previously worked with Jaguar Land Rover and was involved in projects including designing James Bond cars.

The new bike is said to take just 40 minutes to charge and can reach 100kmh in 3.2 seconds with a claimed top speed of 200mph.

The team at Arc used PTC’s computer-aided design software Creo platform to develop the new vehicle, supported by PTC’s platinum partner Root Solutions.
