COVENTRY vitamin and supplement manufacturer Premier Health Products has earned the Queen’s Award for International Trade for the second time.
The firm earned the award after doubling its global orders since 2017- the year they scooped the honour for the first time.
Joint managing directors, brothers Adam and Simon Petros, received the award from the Lord Lieutenant of the West Midlands, John Crabtree OBE, at the firm’s HQ on Falkland Close.
Since then, Premier Health Products have become accredited to GMP standards by the UK Medicines Regulator, Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
The firms exporting success began after support from Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce’s then International Trade Director Ajay Desai back in 2007, and it now exports to over 27 countries.
The certificate featured Queen Elizabeth II’s signature and the Lord Lieutenant said it would be something the business ‘would no doubt treasure.’
Adam said: “It’s an enormous source of pride that we’ve received the Queen’s Award for a second time. To win once was incredible, but to do it twice is outstanding.
“Thanks to the hard work of our staff, and the support from the Chamber and the Department for International Trade, we’ve turned this business into something the whole team can be very proud of.”
