A MEMBER of Coventry City Councils senior bin crew has lost their life while on duty earlier today (January 19.)
A council statement released on social media said this will impact collections across the city and added an update will be provided when possible.
The statement also expressed condolences to the family and friends of the bin crew member.
The council said it is cooperating fully with the Police and the Health and Safety Executive and will be supporting all staff.
