Warning to drivers after spate of thefts from vehicles in Coventry

Coventry Editorial 29th Jan, 2023   0

COVENTRY drivers are being warned not to leave valuables in their vehicles.

The warning from the Foleshill Police Neighbourhood Team follows a spate of incidents where cars have been broken into.

Motorists are advised to clear anything of any value from cars or vans, regardless of how long they are leaving them.

And even putting valuables out of sight in glove compartments and boots is not advised.

People should also always lock their vehicles to avoid making it easy for thieves.

Anyone who sees anything suspicious should call 101 or 999 if a car break-in is in progress.
