THERE is just a week to go until Coventry Beer Festival which will take place at the city’s Rugby Club, Butts Park Arena in Spon End.
The event, featuring more than 60 beers, along with ciders and perries, runs from midday to 11pm next Friday and between midday and 10.30pm next Saturday (March 10 and 11).
The festival’s 2023 charity of the year is Coventry Foodbank which is part of the Trussell Trust and provides emergency food to people locked in poverty and campaigns for change to end the need for foodbanks.
Demand on the charity’s services has increased significantly and cash raised will help the foodbank cope with that added pressure.
