COVENTRY’S Jean McCluskey was making ‘memories’ as she was serenaded by an Elvis impersonator to celebrate her 102nd birthday.

Once Elvis had left the building, MHA Charnwood House resident Jean spent the day with her son Ian and his family, with the home decorating the main lounge and the unit she stays on with decorations and balloons.

Jean’s family bought some food to enjoy with her as well as her wedding dress which she wore in 1947.

And she had a special facetime call with her grandson who lives in Australia.

Victoria Brown, activity coordinator said: “Jean is a very quiet lady and said she wanted no fuss for her birthday.

“We made a montage of her time at the home and stuck the pictures around her room.

“She was a little under the weather on the day and it got a bit too much for her.

“Seeing her wedding dress, which she wore 76 years ago was nice for her and overall, it was a great day for her.”
