Fire breathing Dragon to visit Coventry for St George's Day

Coventry Editorial 18th Apr, 2023   0

MYTHICAL creatures will be roaming the city’s streets on St George’s Day (April 23) as Broadgate will be transformed into a dragon’s den.

The magical family-friendly event will run for four hours from 11am and will have activities and entertainment on offer for people of all ages.

A fire-breathing friend, Puffalot, will be roaming around Broadgate with the dragon queen.

Coventrians will be able to listen to the tale of how St George slayed the dragon and will get the chance to meet the iconic character.

The Coventry Morris men will be dancing the day away, and visitors can also have a go at balloon modelling.

And youngsters are invited to bring along their toy dragons to secure their place in the dragon protection league and receive a certificate.
