EAGLE-EYED Coventry Police officers managed to find a stolen car before its owner even realised it had gone.
A driver tried to leave as Stoke and Wyken police officers approached a car on Hastings Road.
Officers quickly stopped the 29-year-old and arrested him for theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and failing to stop.
Coincidentally, three minutes after police arrested the man, the car’s owner called to report the vehicle theft.
