THE MERIDEN hospital has launched a new virtual GP service for Coventrians amid an ‘all-time high demand’.
The new service will allow patients across Coventry to book virtual appointments with the hospital’s doctors 24 hours a day.
Thousands of patients across Coventry and Warwickshire are currently struggling to get access to appointments.
The new ‘circle online GP’ service will cost £45 for a one-off virtual or telephone consultation and is available on demand between 8am and 10pm seven days a week.
The service will then be able to book a follow-up appointment at the Meriden hospital should the patient need it.
